Toned color typically lasts 4–6 weeks, varying by hair porosity, shampoo frequency, and product use. Purple or blue toners fade faster. We recommend sulfate-free color-safe shampoos and a refresh appointment as advised by your stylist to maintain precise tone and vibrancy.
Toners primarily deposit pigment to adjust tone and neutralize brass; they do not lift your natural base significantly. For major shade changes or lightening you’ll need a full color or lightening service. Your stylist will recommend the correct service after consultation.
Use sulfate-free, color-safe shampoos and conditioner, rinse with cool water, and limit heat styling to prolong toner life. For blondes, use a purple shampoo as instructed. Protect hair from UV exposure and follow your stylist’s recommended refresh schedule to maintain balanced, vibrant color.
