OH em gee! Hannah did such an amazing job with my hair. Booking with her was so easy, I asked for a brown with subtle highlights and she was so professional about the process— we did lowlights, highlights and a toner, and it turned out better than I could’ve hoped for! My hair was very dry and the box dye I’d been spending hundreds of dollars on was turning my hair orange… but she was able to take out the orange tones— I was astonished. I also just had an amazing time talking with her, and all the rest of the people who worked there were so welcoming and sweet to me as well.

Congrats to Daniel on opening Daniel K Palmer Salon! The space is so beautiful with such a luxurious feel. I love the design aesthetic, and all the natural sunlight makes it feel so bright, open, and inviting. Daniel and the team have done an amazing job creating a salon that feels warm, welcoming, and comfortable from the moment you walk in.

Another huge plus is how easy it is to get there. There are dedicated parking spaces for clients, and if those happen to be full, it's super easy to find metered parking just around the corner on Fairfax.

I also have to give a special shoutout to my stylist, Anthony Francis. I've followed Anthony to every salon he's worked at because he's just that good. He's always so kind, incredibly detail-oriented, and consistently gives me an amazing haircut. I know I'm in great hands every time I sit in his chair, and the great conversations are always an added bonus. He's been my go-to stylist for years, and I can't recommend him enough....more

I've been to plenty of high-end places, the kind where the lobby costs more than the haircut and you still walk out unsure whether anyone actually listened to you. Daniel K. Palmer is not that, and that's exactly why I keep coming back. There are nice touches throughout, but nobody is performing luxury at you. What you get instead is a room full of genuinely talented people who know hair, who are friendly without being fake, and who make the whole thing easy.

Anthony is my guy, my favorite Australian, and after seven years he knows my hair better than I do. He is also a master at eyebrows, which is a much rarer skill than people realize. Anyone can take too much off. Anthony gets them clean and shaped without sending you home looking like Groucho Marx. Ask for him.

The pricing is honest too. You are not paying $400 or $500 for the privilege of sitting in a nice chair. You are paying a fair price for a really good haircut from someone who knows what they're doing.

Practical notes for anyone considering it: it's in West Hollywood just off Fairfax, easy to get to, and you don't have to pay for parking. In this city, that last part is not a small thing.

If you want atmosphere and attitude, there are other places. If you want to walk out looking great, having actually enjoyed the hour you spent there, go here....more

I got a blow out and trim from Nova the other day and truly the best experience I’ve ever had getting a blow out! I have such curly hair and usually when I get a blow out it takes hours and the person doing my hair will significantly burn my scalp in order to the get the roots perfect. It’s a really uncomfortable and sometimes embarrassing experience!

I had nothing of that sort with Nova! No pain, no uncomfortable moments, just so many laughs and positivity! She made me feel so so so good and my hair has lasted almost a whole week in this blow out!! I haven’t even had to retouch it!

I’ve been getting K-tip extensions for over three years, and every single time before Daniel, my hair either stayed the same length or got shorter because of how much needed to be cut afterward. I was even going to a stylist with a huge reputation and celebrity clients in Las Vegas—and still, no real growth.

When I switched to Daniel last September, everything changed. Between September and January, my hair grew a full inch—something I had literally never experienced while wearing extensions. For the first time, a stylist actually prioritized the health of my hair, not just how it looked that day.

After just one round of extensions with Daniel, my hair was healthy enough to remove them completely. Now all he has to do is maintain and refresh my color. That alone says everything.
